The photographer behind RLO

I'm Rebecca — a wedding, portrait, and family photographer working out of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I came to photography the way most people come to it: as a way of slowing down. Of looking. Of paying attention to the rooms my people are standing in and the light those rooms are holding.

My work sits somewhere between documentary and editorial. I want photographs that feel true — the way you actually moved through your day, the way the people who love you actually looked at you — but I also want them to be composed, in the old sense of the word. Quiet. Patient. Worth keeping.

I shoot mostly with available light, mostly in close, mostly without a lot of fuss. I bring a small kit and a slower pace than you might expect. I'd rather wait for the right frame than direct you into a hundred wrong ones.

Most of my work is in southeastern Pennsylvania — Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and into Philadelphia — but I travel often and would love to hear about your day wherever it lives.
